In today's episode, I talk with the writer Tracy Clark-Flory about her new book, "My Mother's Daughter" and her journey of investigating a deep family secret.  We talk about motherhood, healing the wounds of our ancestors and the ways a family secret can form us into who we are.  We talk about her journey of becoming a feminist writer to many years of reporting on sex and then becoming a mother herself and how this changed how she thought about her work.  Her story is one of deep humanity, trust and love and I am so glad you are here to hear it.  I hope you enjoy learning about her story as much as I did!
